Eloquently put. Once again I just hope you are right!

I reckon that once a carbon price deal is finalised (and certainly once it is legislated) even Tony Abbott will change his tune. The last thing industry and the power industry in particular wants so as to invest and get on with building more electricity capacity is a continuation of "uncertainty" .. and they will prevail upon him to desist with talk of repealling the legislation.
