You may be right, but for me it has more to do with my attitude to life. I've done well with it so far. Much - really much better than many of my friends and colleagues who have always seen the negative instead of the (possibly) positive. If it becomes ir-reversibly negative and the story comes to nothing, then you have to get out and tackle something new. Life consists of constantly evaluating different decisions. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
