You will get the power stations claiming that it costs anywhere from a dollar to 5 dollars per tonne depending on any amount of fudge factoring.

A tonne of Coldry returns better calorific value and emissions stats than the $60 to $160 / tonne ( you do the hedging ) higher ranking coals that it competes with.

What pit wouldn't like to supply lignite in the tonnage projected for x dollars a tonne if they can scrape it out and sell it at cellar door prices.

( the coldry process / tonne is peanuts )

This is how Loy Yang will survive the E push.

This will be a new mkt darling for many months at least,,,

Look at what WEC achieved with inferior tech and no IP security...but with BHP involved.

Or will Rio simply come in from the dark and take them over at 25c after the coy anns IP is materially secured.
