Thanks CEB2, interesting read the first one, about half my PEN holding is in a SMSF and I had not realised the potential tax benefits.
Doesn't change my view though - although there are a number of SMSFs amongst the top 20 holders, and it would perhaps be in some of our interests to have a buy back - I don't see it benefits PEN at the moment or for the foreseeable future, and is therefore unlikely.
However, PEN also has a habit of looking after it holders - I can't complain about the options offer, 1c a piece and went to 12.5c. Even today, they are nearly a six bagger.
Who knows what the future will bring, the pointers for PEN are in the right direction though I believe.
