I have a few questions relating to charting. Everyone's input would be appreciated...

Oftentimes the charts don't lie and in many cases they are spot on with how a stock will trade. Therefore, what comes first, Market Psychology or Technical Analysis? Does TA create the market psychology (which is obviously not a simple one dimensional phenomenon) or does markey psychology create the charts that produce TA?

Is there some intrinsic, consistent connection here?
