OBM holds a contiguous ~120kms (1200 square kilometres) of leases that cover the 2 main mineralised greenstone trends in the area, dotted with old workings, pits and historic mines with high grade production.

Most of that prospective area is totally unexplored and very few holes have been drilled deeper than 50 metres around old mines.

What would we think if that entire area was in the process of being gridded and soil samples are going to be taken every 150 metres? (I think 76,800 individual samples)

This rather monumental exercise may take up to 18 months to complete, but the timing of results may also be most convenient if it’s after the completion of decline 2 and OBM are spitting out $150 million plus a year in cashflows.

Professionals in the WA gold industry, familiar with the geology in this area, will understand what the long term growth implications of such a huge study may have on OBM.

I understand OBM may only be required to pay a small fraction of the total cost of that study as WES are committed to exploring for a wide range of other elements in the periodic table.
