I'd like the governments justification of the $25m compensation. How do they come up with that number? I know how we come up with $125m
To me this is analogous to a company building factory for $125m and then having some people claim some "social license" (not law) to terminate its operation and then expecting the company to dismantle the factory as well. And now the government is in agreement with these people and are offering $20m in compensation.
What kind of message is this sending to anyone that may want to invest in NSW?
