Coming from a shareholder in a company that planned to use a para-military force of ~1000 to break community opposition, I wonder who doesn't 'get it'! If you need a private army to conduct ANY operations, you may as well walk away - as Ross Mining found, you can't mine with an on-going blockade of your site.

It is a STRANDED ASSET. That's why it was (finally) reclassified as a Resource - no means of commercialization and no Social Licence to Operate means commercialization won't become viable in the foreseeable future. (And time is ticking for ALL fossil fuels - take the "we want a Royalty for 50 years" option if you want, but this Resource will NEVER be developed.)

In the wider community there is between 80-99% opposition to your plans for an industrialised gas mining precinct in the Northern Rivers. Here, a small fraction of the 4700 shareholders like to delude themselves about that (and other) FACTS. Better your little club be 'polluted' by thoughts reflecting the opinions of the vast majority whose lives you want to destroy than your company pollute the Northern Rivers and destroy its communities!
