At the last AGM, Norton acquisition was covered off in discussion with IK.
Yes, MNM management have done the necessary DD to ensure that there was considerable upside in the investment in Norton.
Additionally, Norton had been on MNM's radar for quite some time, but (and I don't recall the exact figure), the then asking price was in the 7 figure range.
With the processing technology available at the time, MNM management decided it wasn't worth the investment at that price.
Over time the asking price dropped (was negotiated) to a point where MNM management (in conjunction with adaptable floatation type processing tech) believed that it was a goer.
Hence the purchase and the announcement.
IK is fully cognisant of cash and cash flow as a minnow explorer and understands that moving to a cashflow positive mining and production business will create:
1) an income/profit stream.
2) more market confidence.
3) a different style of (and hopefully more numerous) investor.
4) SP appreciation.
Those that flippantly use throw away lines about IK have obviously not taken the time to get their facts straight, do their research and/or spoken with the man.
Cheers K
