Some people reckon that because PEN will have no direct dealings with Japan that the fundamentals of the company remain untouched. This, in my opinion, is naivety at it's finest, and simply just wishful thinking.

Japan currently get 70% of their electricity from nuclear power stations, and currently they produce 12.5% of the global nuclear power. If, after this incident, Japan decide to scale back their nuclear power production, then that will lessen the demand for U. Less demand brings about a cheaper spot price. A cheaper spot price brings about smaller sales margins from U producers, i.e. PEN. It's not just Japan either; over 25% of the world's nuclear energy production is in earthquake prone areas. After this tragedy, I'm thinking that many questions will be raised.

Not downramping. I have very little interest in buying PEN. But I feel this point has to be raised.

    IMO...
