Been reading the posts here as there's nothing much on TOE, the stocks I'm owning to gauge responses to Japan quakes, but an interesting article here from Bloomberg here speaks of what I thought will realistically happen for nuclear energy...

In short, this incident will provide knowledge in improving station infrastructure engineering for Chinese stations and will not prevent energy plans in China to curb emissions and build nuclear stations.

Truly, we don't have that much choice, it's either unpredictable weather changes or radiation threat. Those that advocate green energy don't realize that output is from solar, wind, etc. isn't cost efficient enough for energy hungry and shallow pocketed consumers.
