    Good point, not sure if this would be the case for the sort of volume here.

    Also are we talking super funds or Brokers? A broker owns nothing and has no rights to anything. So who would have the right to loan out shares not owned by them in Aus? Isn't that naked shorting?

    Ah just saw the above, ok so it could be brokers. I should be able to ring my broker and ask them.
