lol. There’s a blatantly obvious use in precasting where
-early strength is critical operationally (min strength to remove from mould)

-flexural tensile strength both early (for removing from mould) and 28 day is relevant to the design of the element

-the elements are highly engineered and are full of expensive steel, the moulds are expensive, everything is expensive and the cost of CNT won’t be a significant share and would save money if it allows for less prestressing.

this stuff isn’t trivial, going from a two day to a one day cycle (half as many moulds required) or making a smaller beam or longer span work can win tenders.

the problem as I’ve said is that
-there needs to be real data on properties that can be used by engineers, not vague claims about how it “increases” things, what’s the mean and characteristic flexural tensile strength of a 50MPa mix?

-it needs to be approached ala steel fibres as something that is specified by engineers in the design, which means aside from the data marketing it to engineers so they actually know about it and can use it where it’s appropriate

they've largely gone in the wrong direction and it would take a ton of effort to get it to where it’d need to be to be used in bridge girders but acting like the only possible volume customer is a concrete supplier who’s supplying blends to normal concrete specifications for which it’s obviously pointless and expensive is just disingenuous
