Yep - you are correct. If the price breaches support levels and closes below the trigger line, that would be a significant event so it is a good level to have a stop.

For those unsure of what I mean, the trigger line on my previously posted chart would be the line from where the green pitchfork is anchored (the price low on 23 Jun - see letter M,) to the price low on 2 Nov (see letter P) and continuing off the chart.
