the key is low dilution for BRK.
Better to have a shared stake in venture, without continual dilution to BRK.
Than 100% of something, but BRK being diluted to buggery forever.
It comes down to preserving earnings per share, at the cash in point.
(With the benefits of all BM experience to get there )
