Finicky what a great post it should be compulsory reading for all those who invest in junior PM explorers/miners, I too believed the hype from the gold hypester/doomster newsletter community which caused me to underperform into 2005 despite being an early believer in the commodity boom, as you say a far more conservative investment in BHP or RIO would have proved a better bet than spreading your bets around the spec PM sector. It is sad to see some of the same posters continuing top post the same rubbish from newsletter writers who have caused them to underperform for the last 5 years. With your permission I would like to post your thread started under the gold code as a warning to potential PM stock investors. Saying that I am still keeping an eye on MMN as I think multibag potential exists once we get another round of equity crunch behind us in the next few months.
