Your whole post is predicated on a false premise. Labor and the Greens at the moment control the political destiny of the country. Under their rule there has been no attempt to close down private industry or markets. The ALP cemented superannuation in this Australia, the funds of which are just about the largest holders in equity markets in this country. As such, it's entirley appropriate that ALP supporters should have an interest both in markets and if they're so inclined the broader commentary on this site.
