I am not a tax accountant but my understanding is that any income earned anywhere in the world is taxable in Australia for Australian resident taxpayers. If you have been living here more than 6 months of the year and particularly if your principal place of residence is here then you are up for Aussie tax.
Profits in the US would probably be subject to witholding tax there and you would get a credit for it here under the tax agreements between US & OZ.
I'm not sure but believe if you are permanently leaving Oz you can take your super money with you without tax.
