if part of the verification process involved in a "brand card" transaction is biometric (facial/fingerprint) why does it matter if there is a name on the card or not - given that if you can't fake the biometric bit, you can't pretend to the name? and if it doesn't matter whether there's a name on the card or not, is the only thing of significance about a "brand card" it's biometric check? Is a biometric verification process that special?
Am I missing something? Has anyone wondered, why bother with a card with no name?
