NIPLATS AUSTRALIA LIMITED or "NIP" (asx code).

CFE current holding is 37.36%

NIP shareholders will meet on February 5 2010.
Resolution 2 is to approve the issue of 2,500,000
shares to Mineral Securities (CFE), by way of
placement at 40 cents per share to raise $1 million.

Subject to NIP shareholder approval,
This will mean CFE then hold 39.25%

(The funds are for working capital and on-going scoping study for the
Niplats VANADIUM PROJECT).

The independent experts report has determined the
proposal to be FAIR AND REASONABLE.

NiPlats is a listed mineral exploration company on the ASX since September 2007.
Its significant assets at 14 December 2009 as noted in
announcements to the ASX are:

Interests in a large vanadium project with an indicated and inferred resource totalling 851 million tonnes at 0.32% in the East Kimberly of Western Australia.
A Vanadium Pre-feasibility Study Programme has been
undertaken.

Interests in the Speewah Dome Fluorite project in the East Kimberly.
The tenements contain a fluorite deposit with Indicated and Inferred Resources totalling 5.5 million tonnes at 24.5%. A Fluorite Pre-feasibility Study Programme
has been undertaken.

The Shares are currently 48 cents each.
Top 20 shareholders hold around 63%.
