Absolutely agree. Today I celebrated Australia Day and I will just say the majority of Australians celebrated. So lets take it to a vote. The only question that should be asked is:

'Do you support changing the date for Australia Day of 26 January'?

Time to settle this as I am sick and tied of politicians/councils/idiots making a mockery of an Australian day of celebration. The media today is simply covered with messaging of IMO the minority instead of actually showing the majority of the pop celebrating - just have to look at the attendance at fireworks celebrating the day.

If the yes vote wins then have another vote around options for the new date. And if that happens I hope one of the options is 3 March.

My view is Albanese/Greens/others will not have such a vote because they fear they may lose - so silently are encouraging Councils and others to do their dirty work for them.

    All IMO
