A rare ASX artificial intelligence play

Ever wonder why all the decent artificial intelligence plays are almost exclusively on the NASDAQ?

Well here we have a rare ASX-listed company that has its own globally patented software. It uses AI and machine learning to convert traditional security infrastructure into real-time detection systems that pick up anomalous and undesirable events.

Market Cap ~$15 million AUD

ICE's patented software is a spin-out from Curtin University and learns from existing footage of cameras and reports anomalous activity in real-time. e.g. people sprinting across the street, people committing vandalism, fires breaking out at 2:30am being detected or even people falling down stairs in accidents. The potential applications are very diverse.

You need something to filter out the noise. You need something that is simple to integrate, and provides real-time alerts. ICE co-exists with traditional solutions. It augments, rather than replaces.

I suspect this is why Softbank (one of the largest companies in the world) have taken an interest here. This technology is exponentially scalable.
