As indicated today in an AFR article, interesting to see that the travel stocks are rebounding, despite the record oil prices.
The market is probably considering that it is better to return to a normal business activity for the tourism sector (even with higher oil prices), rather than today's situation where the traffic is limited.
I also wonder if the airlines will be in a better situation than usual to pass the increase in oil prices, as their customers will be so keen to travel again.
