I have watched the musings on hotcopper for many years and the markets are in the midst of a mini revival, is it the real deal or is it a trap for the unwary? Nearly every economic publication that crosses my dest indicates that mining is still in a major down turn. I would think that this small uprise may be very short lived. Some of my observations are the shear amount of projects that have been touted over the last five months, the old catch cry of Cobalt Lithium and gold. It may be wise to take extra care in this mini boom in a downtrending cycle. China is still in the midst of unwinding massive internal debt and if China slows too much then Australia will fall in a hole.
Go have a look at the share charts over the last couple of months on any penny stock, most are up but as always they go back to where they started.
