The Transformation program is comprehensive & wide-ranging:
• Re-organisation of business units
• Separation of Consumer and SME/Corporate Businesses
• Examination of whether to exit less profitable elements of the overall business
• Management team overhaul
• Outsourcing of non-core functions
• Product suite rationalisation
• Process re-engineering & right-sizing of staff numbers
• Infrastructure rationalisation.
The Transformation program, with associated costs and investment in new systems,
along with the underlying performance of the continuing operations, will drive a
negative EBITDA outcome throughout 2007-08, but will position the company for
profitable organic growth during 2008-09 and beyond
