I agree completely. Once the trucks are automated, things will become many times safer in time. Doesn't bode well for truck driving jobs of course.

I often think of the social aspects of what is playing out, I guess it will be over a period of 15-20 years so in that time people just adjust, but will be interesting to see what occupations are available...
