However, I disagree about the USD, it may have a negative impact on nickel price (to some small extent but the expected .25% interest rise from .25% to .5% in the US will affect foreign currency more then commodity price, IMO) and anyway, it will be offset by the positive impact on the REAL and given the situation in Brazil, the increase in USD will have more impact and China need to resupply their nickel inventory for the certain nickel grade for NPI production......but I guess we will see, hey.

Brazil current interest rate are usually high in the past around 5% but it currently at 13.25% so they have a lot of room to move during the recession as many predicts will come, compared to the US current interest rate of .25% (which they will move slower).

Correction, more like a rebound from low of 5.65 (well, a very tiny rally anyways).
