I invest in property, I also own my own home.
I don't have a problem with anyone else investing in it either.
But the prices in Australia are out of whack with any long historical measure, and the fact is that as more and more money is diverted to paying the loan or rent, less can be spent in other areas.
In other words, I believe Australia has too much wealth tied up in property, it will eventually hurt the wider economy and that will have negative implications for employment, interest rates etc.
That's my opinion, nothing personal against anyone else here.
