    63mt of throughput is still not up to scratch though. Really it has the capacity to do 85mt a year, but the infrastructure leading up to the port cannot transport it in that quick, so I think it will be a while before we see those sorts of numbers.

    If one month at 6.1M tonnes was a new record, then really it looks like 70mt is about the maximum it can do in year at present.

    One plus I suppose (in a backward sort of way) is that there is no need to make any plans to expand the port beyonf 85mt a year until it is physically possible to bring in that amount of coal, so it looks like it could be some time before there is any serious capex required at DBCT. This will mean in the short term operating cashflow will be quite large although how much of that goes to debt and how much to the DBCT owners remains to be seen. I would think the debtholders will be insisting on seeing some principle repaid.
