Just ponder the way Eddie Obeid has been able for 20 years 1991-2011 to pull strings and use his position and influence to act corruptly and be the centre of a most powerful Labor faction in our biggest State. Think of the many dozens of other prominent citizens and politicians who must have ridden with Eddie, basked in the glow of his influence, many maybe accepting corruptly obtained favours & largesse, and how many convicted? Zero I think as of now.
And it is from this festering pool that we would be choosing a President? And all the Pres staffers and numerous hangers on.
