A resonable thread

It may be possible with goodwill and normal fair-mindedness to relegate the trolls and hobgoblins to a few spluttering outbursts and pictorial sneers (I've got to admit Evil Betty is creative as well as dedicated. He is quick to attack at any time of the day regardless of the point in question so his dedication is beyond peer).

But what has been surprising is the relative lack of enquiry from the reasonable thread watchers out there in their thousands once I was able to confirm that Netlinkz has a crew of 120-130 staff in 6-7 Chinese cities including Shenzhen and Shanghai. We also know that there are now about 80 organizations using the software and we also have the the intriguing fact that management bought several servers over two years ago and made the cryptic comment that this related to JD.com.

If we put those bare facts beside the new look website we appear to have a solid looking company with what looks like a still smallish but tially large business. Let's not put it at higher than that at the moment but if we take the claims at face value - and there is no reason not to now that we know some some large companies use the service - there is obviously global ambition and steps being taken toward that ambition.

The website says "We connect anyone, anywhere, on any device" and talks about "partnering with global leaders".
Its lists the partners as : AWS, (the world's largest cloud service) Microsoft, Google and Alibaba Cloud..
Strangely, or perhaps interestingly, JD Cloud is not mentioned, perhaps because there is an NDA in place, but the imagery of on the site seems to make a wink and a nod reference to JD's drone delivery technology in China,or at least to the growing use of drones for quick goods delivery across China.

In fact Alibaba has a big drone deliveryservice already, but as JD has plans for a million drones we are probbaly being given a hint that this is one way the software is being deployed already. There are also visual references to hospital networrks and statements that in fact this is occurring.
We see a non-Chinese, causcasion emergency service worker in an ambulance retrieiving a patient's medical records, wind-farms connectivity, containers pots in action and highways where data is is being gathered. That is the IoT that management has been talking about for the last 3-4 years.

The point is that this is all before our eyes, certainly with some blanks to fill in, and yet the Netlinkz threads have descended into a kind of grim, ivy entwined Ghormengast mad house.

Let's try to have a reasonable discussion, The biggish funds probably have a very clear picture of exacty what's happening, but the rest of us only have glimpses (now getting a lot clearer) but are gobsmacked by the venom and the orchestrated misdirection.
