Is it not a little unrealistic to say that a placement considerably below the current shareprice will not drag the shareprice down?
The shares allocated under the placement will not be subject to escrowed conditions, and as such, some sophisticated investors will relinquish their shares on market for a tidy yet instant profit...happens all the time across all stocks in the market. Why will MNM be any different?? This will almost certainly drag the shareprice down, albeit most likely temporarily....as a poster has already mentioned it's more likely than not that there will be some kind of run as the commencement of drilling is announced...there always is.
