A precautionary tale.
Yesterday I went to sell my large (to me) holding of CSL, however I clicked on BUY by mistake and didn't notice until I saw the order disappear really quickly.
I had just doubled my holding and I did not have the money to pay for it.
Momentary panic, but I decided to make the most of the T+2 and see what happens this morning.
So I placed my sell order for all of my now huge (to me) holding in the pre-open queue that I still don't understand.
I put a realistic price of only a couple of dollars above my buy price and it ended up selling for twice that margin.
It beats me but I came out of this stressful 24 hours with more profit than I was hoping for.
It's a strange thing, this game.
So, I'm taking the rest of the day off and relaxing.
Lesson to be learnt: double check all settings before clicking that final button.
