a sad day

As a former shareholder in TIM who still feels the scorch marks of "belief glibly given to others" I believe that todays ann is just about curtains.

My sympathies are with the shareholders who shared the dream and were maybe lead along by a certain investment newsletter who continually presented this as a BIG BUY.

I sadly admit that I bought in not really undertanding the company or what it does and I've paid the penalty.

But TIM taught me a valuable lesson and I've profited reasonably well ever since.

TIM taught me to

(a) never blindly believe what others say
(b) An "investment advisor" doesn't mean that they know or understand more than you
(c) Always DYOR and double check the recommendations of others.

Now to get rid of that other milstone...ROC!
