Sharpshooter,
We all know that the recent production figures are not great - this is not in dispute. However, they are still getting the stuff out of the ground and are still making solid profit. That's a FACT. The longevity of WD is still to be determined and cannot be based on a short-term production decline.
So based on your facts, RMS spent $9m in one quarter and therefore will continue to do so?? If this is the case then they will spend $36m annually. How do you reconcile this with a $90m cash balance plus the CR??
Given that RMS spent $9m in the quarter, do you not think that maybe they used some of this money to get MtM up to speed? What about their exploration expenditure? What about the 6% or so that they have accumulated in DRM?
Your logic behind RMS cash flow and earnings is seriously flawed. The production problems at WD are a short-term problem and will need to be watched. However your assumption that this is linked to the CR does not make sense.
