Vespasian03 sorry you are intimidated by "knowledgeable" and "confident posts" but people are allowed to disagree with you. You are hardly going to get any respect if you disappear when you are getting the worst of any debate.

You seem to want to ride your hobby horse of the middle eastern political situation on the Gip thread but this is not a huge factor for Gippsland. The political/financial situation in Germany is most important by a long way followed some way back by the Congo, Australia, and Britain.
