The last spp was at the depths of the credit crisis earlier this year and so successful that a scaleback was necessary. THe objective of te spp was to fund activities through to 31st Dec 2009 - this abjective achieved and company spending within those parameters. At that time management said that other capital initiatives were under investigation but with the easing of credit conditions and it is pleasing to me as a shareholder to hear that these initiatives are on hold (or whatever) as significantly better deals are available now.
Furthermore, wasn't there a recent announcment of another government research grant?
