in her defense Julia only used the word speculative not 'highly speculative' nothing to take offence at, i dont necessarily agree but the speculative nature I believe she refers to is obviously the pathway in the US with fixed odds etc and nobody can be sure how it will play out an hence your taking a calculated risk (with big upside) on that but its not the only story in town. don't forget that these guys bread and butter is largely the ASX200 and 300 so they cant be across everything but she does have a basic understanding of the business.

if a commentator knows more about the business than us than we should be worried after already putting our hard earned down ! i beleive the reference was more to highlight the increasing exposure of BET into the mainstream rather than actually anything Julia said of which we already know.

seems strange to bag someone who is bullish on the stock for what reason i cant grasp yet because she said the stock is speculative ???
