Yes, all those Game Changing devices, best in class, no competition, and nothing ever got to market. I think what took us all in was the amount of money companies like Sanofi, Amgen, Medimmune and Hikma gave Unilife leading us to believe Unilife really had something special.

In retrospect, while the amounts paid by these customers was big for Unilife, it was nothing to them. It was an investment based on a high hope that those companies could afford to gamble. It was not an endorsement by them but just an investment that they made in a product that may or may not have worked out, just like they invested in competitors' products.

I don't think any of us realized this until it was too late.
