What everyone seems to be forgetting here is that a buyback locks out some of the stock available for shorting permanently.
If shorts have to cover their positions, like they did with the US banks you will get a kick along to the share price in the order of 20-30% I feel.
I support the buyback because it is taking away some of the ZFX shares that were issued giving back to OXR holders some of the dilution they have suffered in ownership of near term growth assets + dilution through the share price drop.
Right now the entity is what OXR was worth before the deal.
I'd much rather a buyback than increasing dividends, because dividends will dilute shareholders because of the DRP in place. If people are right that they say this will be $5-6+ in a few years, then getting shares issued at $2 isn't a bad deal for those anyway.
Hope OZL can hold 1.90 tomorrow as I plan to start switching into my next lot of 10baggers.
