I can't be there for opening day unfortunately - We're heading down to Denmark and Albany on Wednesday morning, but will be in there to check it out and will take the camera...

My wife and I had our first date at the E sheds (about 50m away from the A sheds) - which involved walking down past the A shed and the Leeuwin (dock side) to the Maritime musem to look for her mums name on the plaques outside the museum (for those who haven't been there, the plaques commemorate all those who came into Freo by boat - the earliest name is from 1830 and the last from 1980 - but not sure how complete it is)

Our wedding was at the Maritime musem, between Australia II and the Parry Endeavour and our wedding photos were taken around the A shed, with the shed used as a backdrop for quite a few of them...

So I guess you could say we've got a bit of a soft spot for the place already...
