got return call today

a few points:

dms at wharf since Apr2. they go to the Customs twice a day, everyday they were told tomorrow is the day (sounds bloody familiar LOL). They v done everything they could to expedite the process including flying a group of Customs officials to SA to have the dms inspected already before being transported. Did this because there was a 4 month delay last time and so they learned from that experience this time around

diamond auction. I think a previous poster covered this perfectly. waiting for govt valuation report. Apparently they cant find anyone in the country who can reliably value these diamonds due to the rare nature of Type IIa, they have to get someone in from Europe. LOM was told this would be done in Apr hence the earlier reported date, but again looks like more red tape

So to sum up his expected timeline on both events:
