Yesterday I had the opportunity to have a quick chat to one of Australia's and probably one of the world's leading gold exploration geologists. He currently runs the world gold exploration team for a massive gold mining co starting with N, and used to work for another, again starting with N, who had the dirt we now have. He is/was Perth based. I asked a few pertinent questions.
A few comments he passed were:
Juno, and NN was probably some of the richest areas ever.
Massive upside potential. Massive.
Bitzer, you'll love this: great opportunity to uncover lode bearing, high grade pods!
Economics meant that it wasn't feasible to drill out the area. More opportunity elsewhere at the time.
And to the veracity of Matt the Geo? Great guy who really knows his stuff, we're in good hands.
