I read a very interesting sociological study on the role of military rape

Within the "survival of the fittest " paradigm and along the same lines that a new male lion when he enters the pride goes around and kills all the other progeny and then mates with all females

The theory is that in the scheme of things as we evolved the use of rape to inseminate and hence spread the blood lines of the victorious and hence more dominant subset prevailed
