Received this response from URM on the 5th Oct...
Uramet remains active in the Georgina Basis. Our prospects cover base metals (lead/zinc), phosphate, tungsten and uranium. Lignite is known to exist at depth on our Wilora tenement. The Uramet prospectus stated that the Wilora prospect was considered to be prospective for uranium hosted in lignite. This lignite is at depth and to date no work has been done to assess its suitability for UCG. The Northern Territory government has yet to finalise tenement status for UCG (ie whether it falls under mineral, petroleum or a special new category of tenement to be created).
As a rule Uramet does not respond to “chatter” however should Uramet venture into geothermal or UCG the ASX will be the first to be informed.
Should you require any further information please feel free to call me.
