There were some well heeled true believers in there buying it up today.
In general what you say is true and mainly pointed at the base metals deposit however the market appears to have commenced an upward revaluation of AAR based on possible commencement of gold mining and or an optimistic outlook for select base metals such as copper and zinc. Both of these metals would have to drop quite a bit before the base metals project becomes uneconomical again. AAR flagged this in their latest activities report.
I believe that the gold deposit that they to mine is quite economical but low number of ounces.
