I think you guys are getting a great deal. If the world doesn't end and they can refinance the price could go back towards a dollar when the markets recover. NTA is over a dollar. Dividends are paid out of rentals, so any development business profits are just a bonus. Because of mark to market rules they had to write down their assets which reduced the profit by 85%, but this has the effect of increasing the cap rates which are much higher than bank interest anyway.
Capitaland the majority owner is strong and won't want to destroy it's value simply because of the banking crisis.
