@eagle888; on the ABC's Insiders program this morning David Speers pursued the issue of strong on national security with Frydenberg.

He asked for his perceptions of comments made by Dutton about the Chinese spy ship which have now been exposed as factually wrong - wherein Dutton withheld news of the incident for more than a week and labelled it alleged the Chinese ship's visit was 'aggressive' when in reality it was no different from what Australia, the US and the UK have been doing off the coast of mainland China - exercising a right to freely navigate in those waters.

It's my conclusion that far from being 'strong' on national security, Dutton was being deceitful and mischievous ... Frydenberg was lost for words.

That followed on from Peter Hartcher's revelations about the cancellation of the French Subs contract and the advent of AUKUS - wherein Morrison deceived French President Macron, US President Biden, UK PM Johnson and even kept Albanese in the dark until hours before his signature was required on the deal.

It appears the Coalition equates cheating, deceiving and lying with 'strength'.
