To Karen Phelps and Cathy McGowen, come and live in the tropics without your office and home airconditioning during the hot and humid summer months and then you may better understand the plight of the struggling battler. Phase in renewables gradually and continue to use our high quality coal for power generation.

I live in the tropics of Far North Qld and have six kilowatts of solar panels on my roof. I don't care much what power prices do. We mostly run fans for cooling. I don't like airconditioning much unless it's scorchingly hot.Dave R.
