Discussions may start after an Announcement or say, an important publication may be added to that thread.

A study thread is not used to repeat things over and over again.

We like to keep a study thread clear for students and readers. These are not necessarily posters.

It just happens that this is one thread where some attention is needed: the subject is interesting but one needs some background.

But, to keep that study thread clear, we use ordinary PGL threads as well; so I suggest you use those. Why fill space in a Study thread for no reason?

Study threads are summaries, Announcements and reasonably intelligent comment.

They are important because they are permanent.
